Zipflow is built for UK sole traders and small contractors who quote multiple jobs per week and want to spend less time on admin. It's particularly valuable for tradespeople who currently write quotes manually in the evening — Zipflow replaces that process with on-site voice quoting in under 60 seconds.
No. Zipflow runs as a web app in your phone browser — there's nothing to download from the App Store or Google Play. Visit zipflow.co.uk and tap "Add to Home Screen" for instant one-tap access that looks and feels exactly like a native app.
Zipflow is the fastest quoting app available for UK tradespeople in 2026. It generates professional quotes in under 10 seconds by voice, supports 10 UK trades with 912 specific job types, sends directly via WhatsApp and email, and costs £12.99 per month — significantly cheaper than alternatives. It's particularly suited to sole traders and small contractors who need to quote quickly on site.
Most quoting apps are built for desk use and require manual entry of line items from a catalogue. Zipflow is built for on-site use with voice input as the starting point. You speak the job, the AI detects every task involved, your rates are applied, and a professional quote is ready in under 10 seconds. No other quoting app for UK tradespeople offers voice-to-quote in this way.
Zipflow costs £12.99 per month or £99 per year (saving £56.88 vs monthly). There is a full 30-day free trial with no credit card required. All features are included in both plans and the trial — voice quoting, AI generation, sending, scheduling, invoicing and accountant export.
Yes. Zipflow includes a full 30-day free trial with no credit card required. You can generate real quotes for real customers, test every feature, and decide whether it works for your trade before committing to anything. The trial includes every feature — nothing is locked behind a paid tier.
You can use Zipflow free for 30 days without a subscription or credit card. After the trial period, a subscription of £12.99 per month or £99 per year is required to continue generating and sending quotes.
Yes. The annual plan costs £99 per year — equivalent to £8.25 per month — compared to £12.99 per month on the monthly plan. That's a saving of £56.88 per year, roughly equivalent to two free months.
You can cancel your Zipflow subscription at any time from the Settings screen in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then. Your quotes and job history remain accessible during the remaining paid period.
Zipflow has one plan with all features included — there's no basic/pro distinction or features locked behind higher tiers. You choose between monthly (£12.99) or annual (£99) billing. All features are available on both.
You hold the microphone button and describe the job naturally — just like you'd explain it to a colleague. Zipflow converts your speech to text, detects every trade task implied by the description, asks a few quick follow-up questions, applies your rates and markup, and generates a fully itemised professional quote. The whole process takes under 10 seconds.
Zipflow's accuracy is based on your own rates and the detail of your description. The AI detects tasks from your description and applies your labour rate, markup and saved material costs. Most tradespeople find their voice quotes are actually more thorough than manual ones — because the AI detects every task implied by a description, including ones that experienced tradespeople sometimes forget to include manually.
Zipflow shows you the transcript of what it heard before generating the quote. You can tap any word to correct it or edit the description text directly. The correction step takes under 30 seconds. You can also edit any line in the generated quote before sending.
Zipflow's speech recognition is optimised for trade environments including UK accents and trade terminology. For very noisy locations — running machinery, heavy road noise — switch to the TYPE input option which works identically. Many tradespeople use voice on site and type when in the van if needed.
Yes. Tap the TYPE button instead of the VOICE button and describe the job by typing. The same AI processing applies — task detection, refinement questions, and quote generation all work identically whether you speak or type.
Zipflow detects over 912 specific trade job types across 10 UK trades. These are specific job types — not generic categories. Examples include "install EV charger on existing supply", "replace thermostatic shower valve", "build raised flower bed wall" and "fit bifold doors". The detection engine is updated regularly based on real job descriptions.
Zipflow generates prices based on your own rates — your day rate, default markup, and any material costs you have saved. The AI handles task detection and itemisation; you supply the pricing. This means every quote reflects your actual costs and margins, not generic industry averages. Your rates improve as you generate more quotes over time.
Yes. Once your quote is generated you can send it directly via WhatsApp or email from within Zipflow. Customers receive a professional quote link they can view and accept on their phone — not an attachment, a clean mobile-optimised quote page.
Yes. Your business name, logo, address and contact details are applied automatically to every quote and invoice. Set these up once in Settings and they appear on everything you send from that point forward.
Yes. Every line of a generated quote is editable before sending. You can add tasks, remove tasks, change individual prices, adjust the markup slider, and modify the description. You can also edit quotes after they've been sent if a customer requests changes.
Yes. When a customer accepts a quote, tap Generate Invoice and Zipflow creates a PDF invoice from the same quote data in one tap. No re-entering information. Send it via email or WhatsApp directly from the app. Invoice numbers are generated automatically.
Yes. Toggle VAT at 20% on or off for each quote. For VAT-registered businesses this adds the VAT amount as a separate line and updates the total automatically. Your VAT number is included on invoices for compliance.
Set a start date on any quote and it appears in Zipflow's built-in job calendar. View by month, week or day. Smart reminders appear when a quote has been outstanding too long or when a scheduled job is approaching. Tap any job in the calendar to jump straight to the job details.
Yes. Every job moves through a clear status pipeline: Draft → Sent → Accepted → Completed. You can see your full pipeline at a glance. When a customer confirms, tap Accepted to update the status and generate an invoice immediately.
Yes. Attach photos from your phone camera or library to any quote or job. Photos are saved to the job record and can be included when sending the quote — they appear alongside the quote and make your submissions look significantly more professional.
Go to Settings → Accountant Export, choose your date range (last 3 months, last 6 months, this financial year, last financial year, or custom), and download a CSV file covering all invoices, revenue totals, job breakdown, VAT summary and date range data. Compatible with Xero, FreeAgent, HMRC Making Tax Digital and Excel.
Zipflow provides CSV export compatible with Xero, FreeAgent, QuickBooks and HMRC Making Tax Digital. Direct live integration with accounting software is on the product roadmap for a future release.
Yes. When a job involves multiple trades — plumbing, tiling and electrical for a bathroom renovation, for example — Zipflow detects all trades involved and generates a combined quote. You can also split by trade if you prefer to send separate quotes for each element.
Zipflow requires an internet connection to generate AI quotes and send to customers. You can review existing quotes and job records without a connection. For areas with poor signal, describe the job by voice or text and generate the quote when you return to coverage — the description is saved locally.
